Level 4: Human Scan

After having many tests on objects, we took the liberty to make our first attempt on a human.

As you can imagine, such action is very challenging and needs a lot of patience and persistence in order to find the most optimal way. Except for the restrictions that the model should go through, such as movement, blinking, etc, there are many limitations regarding the procedure too.

One of the biggest struggles was the cable limitation. Lidar L515 used in the tests has a limited cable length, and unfortunately, the usage of a longer one will cause misfunction to the camera itself.

The result of our first attempt is satisfying. Mostly because we observed many things that we should take into consideration and improve our approach.

We plan to upgrade our current settings and implement the lessons learned.
